Rotary evaporator
A rotary evaporator to carry out evaporation tests on a laboratory scale (50-3000 mL) is available at CPTM.
The operating pressure can be adjusted in order to work even in high vacuum conditions: in this way the boiling temperature can be consequently chosen (up to 160°C).
Vapours can be condensed and sampled in order to evaluate the variation of the physico-chemical properties throughout the entire process.
The instrument allows you to:
- Remove a low boiling solvent under controlled conditions, even at low temperatures;
- Evaporate solutions to dryness;
- Simulate quickly and simply the industrial operating conditions of an evaporation/crystallization process
